Portraits of GRRRLS is the culmination of an autobiographical storytelling program based in the interdisciplinary arts called SPEAK*. During the program, we focused on self expression and finding the authentic voice through literary, movement/performance, & visual arts. This project is designed to give young girls a platform for art and voice which culminates in a devised piece presented in the Capital Fringe Festival. Portraits of GRRRLS centered around the idea of strength and building yourself up when you are cut down.
